Don’t

April 1, 2018

Don’t believe in the falsehood.
Don’t look at the water and expect it to carry you.
There is more than enough sunshine for us all.
But don’t try to measure your own.

Don’t look into the past too long.
Don’t believe in the future too much and expect it save you.
There isn’t as much time as we all believe.
But don’t try to take too much of others.

Don’t leave it.
Don’t leave it unsaid.
Don’t leave it unremarked upon.
Don’t leave it for someone else to carry.
Don’t leave it alone when it cries out for you.
Don’t leave it.
Don’t leave.

Don’t.
